The food was excellent. Our waiter was great. Some of the food runners were a little hurried and careless. We love the food, and we would definitely go back.

Recently attened Bruce Hendens funeral and El Jarro Catered the most amazing food. I wish I could have that food daily. Beef Tenderloin, smoked salmon and plenty of other options. The display was amazing as was the service. I have had them cater for years and they are dependably outstanding!

Great service. Great food and great atmosphere. You can easily tell why this restaurant is so popular. The service is spot on. Chips and salsa arrive at your table the moment you sit down. And if you are drinking - which I would recommend - their margaritas are wonderful. The food is delicious and come in large portions and while the restaurant is usually crowded - having a conversation is no problem. All in all if you are looking for an excellent Mexican restaurant - you should try el Jarro - I think you will be pleased.

I LOVE this place. My mother Susan worked at this restaurant when she was pregnant with me back in 88! So I’m sure that’s why I’m addicted to the salsa and Maria’s Tortillas! Look at how fresh & beautiful that salsa is! The margaritas are mango and reg.

We went here for dinner tonight as a family. Overall, the place seemed to have an upscale approach. We ordered the super nachos as an appetizer, two Trevino, margaritas, the carne guisada dinner, the shrimp enchilada suizas, a quesadilla and the bananas foster for dessert. Absolutely everything was delicious!! Also, the shrimp enchiladas were hands down the best suizas I have ever had! The salsas were very flavorful. I loved how the restaurant had the tortillas being made fresh on display in the middle of the restaurant. My only critique is that they do not have much of a margarita / Mexican drink option. We’ll definitely be coming back here.

The food: GOOD AND FRESH! Started off with some of the best Chips and Salsa I’ve had in a long time! The enchiladas may not have been the best I’ve ever had but they were still enjoyable! The level of service: EXCELLENT! This place has a great, hard working waitstaff that is very attentive! The atmosphere: It’s a bit more upscale than most places but still very welcoming. If you have ever wanted to enjoy a ‘Tex-Mex Candlelight Dinner’ you will get it here! I look forward to returning and trying some different items on their menu.

I cringe writing this as this place is 10 min from my home.. but fair is fair. Lived in Mexico, spent years in Austin. Mexican and Italian are my go to places. Finally tried this place. I rate places on 4 categories. 1. Food. 2. Drinks 3. Atmosphere 4 chips and tortillas. They scored on every point. The fajitas and home made tortillas were great. Top shelf margarita perfect. The poblano roasted corn soup, phenomenal.. service was great. Will go again and again
